The Junior Girls Volleyball Team had a very successful
season. The season started in early December with very suc-
cessful tournaments in Midland and Barrie. With the season
coming to a close at the GBSSA's semi-final that was hosted at
CCL The team consisted of 13 players, with 7 members return-
ing from last year's squad. We had a lot of experience heading
into the season, and competed in every rnatch. The pinnacle of school and defeat the opposing team. the season was a huge victory, in a do or die match at the (ABOVE) Brooke Nickel awaits
unfriendly home ofBarrie North. The girls proved that they belonged in the GBSSA semi- finals, however we came up at the short end of a great match to the eventual champions.
I would like to thank all the girls who made the laughs and adventures of JR Girls Volleyball even that much more ex-
citing and interesting,

sible.
This was a major rebuild- ing year for the Junior Boys' team. Ten of the
eleven players were grade nine students and the only grade ten student did not play volleyball last year.
The team showed great hustle all sea- son. The players skills improved with each game and they finished the regular season with a record of 1 win and 5 losses. In the playoffs they defeated Ban- ting to qualify for the the GBSSA Cham- pionships.
In the first match at the Championships they played North Collegiate (eventual winners) and lost in three games.
We are looking forward to next season.

This year, members of the Junior Girls Volleyball team included Anne Belanger, Katie Bell, Kelly Burrow, Jasmine Cuff, Kaitlin Garbutt, Dallas Graham, Nicole Jones, Nicole Kingsman, Kaitlin Love-Wilkinson, Sam Martin, Brooke Nickel, Chelsea Stoklas and Jordan Wright.
During the 2004 season, members of the Junior Boys Volleyball team include Andrew Bembow, Tate Foisie, Matt Gallaway, Jeremy Johnston, John Lacheppelle, Andrew Osburn, Andrew Palmer, Campbell Pollock, Michael Snider, Robert Thompson and Blake Wilson.
