INTERMEDIATE VOLLEYBALL

The Boys' Intermediate Volleyball Team was coached by Mr. Darlington and he did an excellent job. Some of the members had never even touched a volleyball and Mr. Darlington did a good job teaching the boys. On behalf of the team I would like to congratulate and thank Mr. Darlington.
We took part in one G.B.S.S.A. tournament before Christmas. Our first game was against Barrie North. It was the closest game we had, losing 15-13. Our second game was against Stayner. The old rivalry between Stayner and Collingwood was very obvious and for a change the "Black Team" came out on the winning side 15-8.
The next game on the agenda was against Alliston, who turned out to be the winner. You could say we got bombed, but I'll just say they beat us. Our Final game was against Barrie Central. We could have trounced them but by that time we were just out to have a good time and I think this was accomplished.
